2013 CADILLAC XTS catalytic converter replacement

My XTS had a cracked front catalytic converter after 90,000 miles and the dealer wanted to replace it for $1,500 with labor. A muffler shop would do it for $1,400. I bought the part for $309 from 1Aauto. It took me 1 and a half hours to replace it with help from the videos from 1Aauto. The part fit perfectly and even came with gaskets. Ill use 1Aauto again - guaranteed!

Great replacement for my 16 impala. My factory converter was cracked and was dealing a gassy smell in the cabin until the converter got hot and sealed. Was hard to tell that it was cracked with the heat shield but was able to cut it back and see it clear as day. Fits perfect and very easy to install. I'd buy this and put it on before spending $1500 at a dealership for them to do it.

Yes, this is the front converter. The Cadillac XTS has a rear converter as well - much more difficult to replace.
