Didn't work - bracket was different than OEM and running board would not close with same gap from front to back. 1A Auto customer service was great tho.

How long of a warranty is there on this product I bought one 21/2 years ago and its starting fail goes down but have to help it up ?

How hard was the old motor to get off. Did you remove the whole running board and do on a shop bench?

Removed whole running board. Dropped it on the garage floor. Removed old bracket and motor. Installed new. Reinstalled onto vehicle. A friend helped. Two hours total. Now, with experience, Im sure I could another in an hour. Not hard.

Yes running board needs to be removed. I ended up having issues with aftermarket motor and bracket and ended up returning. The running board would not sit level in closed position as the bracket was different than stock and off when in closed position. I found an OEM motor and had to heat up the shaft to remove from the bracket and install new motor to existing OEM bracket. Then put it all back on vehicle.
