All right. We wanna disconnect the battery. Disconnect the negative cable, use an 8-millimeter ratchet wrench or a wrench, and then slide that out of the way. Now, take this engine cover off, use an 8-millimeter socket. Loosen that bolt up, slide the cover off, then use the trim tool, and there's a bracket right here. This one is broken, but pry that bracket away from the snorkel. Now, we can loosen up the worm clamp right here and also on the throttle body. Use an 8-millimeter socket, or you can use a straight blade screwdriver. Now, we can just remove the snorkel. Slide it up and out of the way. Now, I'm gonna remove the airbox. You don't necessarily have to take this out, but then you can get more of an angle of what I'm actually doing. So, disconnect the mass airflow sensor. Just pull up on that lock, slide it out, and then you can just grab the airbox and pull up on that side. It slides right out. Now, we can disconnect the electrical connectors to the fans. Just push down on the lock tab, slide it out. Do that on both sides.
There's some wire retainers holding down the wires. I'm just gonna use a trim tool and pry those up. Separate that from the fan shroud or fan assembly. Careful, sometimes they break. Now, you can remove these hoses right here, and then there's a bracket right here. Slide that bracket out, and you can just set the hoses aside a little bit. Now, take these two bolts out. I'm gonna use a 13-millimeter socket. Now, we can just grab the fan and slide it up. Just pull it past the hoses. Get that and then slide it out. All right. Now, take the new fans and just pull the hoses out of your way. You just might have to angle it a little bit. And there's a little bracket right here, it's gonna go into the radiator, and then there's one on the other side as well. Make sure you get those lined up. All right. Then take the bolts, line the bolts up, get those started, and take those down. Then you can take the coolant hose retainer, slide that in position. And then the one that goes right here, you can transfer that from the old one. Just take a trim tool, get underneath it, and just pry it up and slide that in position. Put the hose in.
Now, take the electrical harness, put that retainer in and connect the connectors to the fans. Lock them in place. Now, take the airbox, and we're gonna reposition this. This is gonna slide into a groove over here, and then these two pins are gonna go in these grommets. So, try to get that lined up and press it down. Plug the mass airflow sensor back in. Lock it down and take the snorkel. Slide it over the throttle body and then over the mass airflow sensor, and tighten down those worm clamps. And then reattach the bracket right there. Just push it in. This one is broken. Slide the engine cover back in position, get the bolts started. Now, we can hook up the battery. Line it up and get it started, and snug it up. Just make sure it's not loose. That's good.
