The item is as described and unless one looks closely they could not tell a stock headlight assembly from this replacement unit. There are some differences - RAM logo missing from lower outside lens, access cover uses Phillips heads instead of hex, and the breathers are angled 45 degree rubber connectors rather than caps. Replacement was a relatively simple swap - took under an hour with tools that your average DIYer would possess and how-to's can be found on the web - I did remove the grill as it does make working with the long bolt easier. One surprising note is that you can only replace the low and high beam bulbs - all others in the assembly are LED (turn signal & parking), built in and not accessible or replaceable. This is not the fault of this replacement assembly but one of original design. So effectively this would be a $700 replacement bulb from the dealer should one have the turn signal or parking light fail. I had to replace due to a leak in the original and should I need

Excellent product so far , fit on 2016 Ram2500 , replaced original,, time will tell on durability . Only difference is no RAM emblem on side and different low beam bulb ..

Looks like it'll fit into the truck however it uses a different type of bulb so if you use a higher end bulb don't think you can just swap it out. The bulb in the projector housing is easy to get to but forget trying to get the other one no way to get it to twist out
The whole process went smoothly. Never heard or knew of 1A Auto but would definitely order through 1A Auto again!

Will this cause a turn signal error? In other words is it "canbus compatible"? There are many aftermarket headlight assys that work perfectly well but draw slightly different current. Even though they are the same projector/LED combo design. The truc

These headlights will use the same Halogen bulbs as the OE headlight assemblies. The headlights will come with test bulbs that will need to be replaced.

This uses an h9 bulb where as the factory lights are a 9005. So either buy two of these or spend the extra on name brand because it's going to be frustrating having to carry two different types of bulbs
