Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we show you how to service the front signal light or the front side marker light on this 2003 Nissan Maxima. It's pretty much the same for any 2000 - 2003. The only tools you'll need include a flat blade screwdriver and some type of rag or paper towel.
These front side marker lights are pretty easy to change. Take an old rag and a flat blade screwdriver, and you want to go under probably an inch and a half back in the front. Make sure you get your screwdriver right in underneath there. Pry a little bit in front from the top side and that comes out.
Then you can turn this counterclockwise and that comes out of the light. This bulb if you just want to replace the bulb it pulls right out and pushes back in.
Now, here's the new light from 1A Auto. Make sure you line up the socket correctly. Put it in clockwise to lock it. Put the back in first, then the front, and you're all set.

Hi, I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1A Auto. I want to help you save time and money repairing or maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20-plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly: that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we'll be replacing the side marker light on a 2001 Nissan Maxima. This is the same procedure for any 2000 to 2003 Maxima. You need to remove the headlight and then after that you really don't need tools. The tool you need to remove the headlight is a 10 millimeter wrench.
I'm going to speed through the headlight. It's pretty easy. It's two 10 millimeter bolts and then pull it out. If you do want to see this video in real time you can check out our other videos, just search for a Maxima headlight, but I'll speed through getting the headlight out and then take you through the side marker. Okay, now you can just twist to remove and you can service the bulb or replace the light if you need to. Then obviously to install is the reverse. Then you put the back in first and then just press the front.
