Yes they do need to be pressed in. I did it easily with a cheap ball joint press kit from the internet and an impact wrench.

Yes the upper and lower both press in and out fairly easy just make sure they are straight in line with opening one wants to be difficult at times make sure you remove the clip on the top one before you press it out

Yes. Most auto supply stores will rent out the tool kit for a deposit, Advance Auto Parts, for example. You will most likely need a large breaker bar and a lot of leverage to press out the old ones.

No sure they come in a white box. I have a set on my lifted 01 dodge. Been on since May of 2016. With no issues. Hope this helps.

All the parts in the kit I bought were already greased. Non greasable but my truck has a lift kit and I change ball joints about once a year so it didn't really matter to me. But all the parts seem to be pretty good quality cause I dont baby my truck. I would definitely buy it again if needed

These ball joints do not have a greasing nipple as they come pregreased and sealed for their service life. Incidentally, the factory originals were also sealed with no greasing nipple and I got 96k out of those.

We are unsure of the MM cross reference, but if you could supply us your VIN number or confirm the current axle is a Dana 44 we may provide the correct parts.

Thank you for the quick response. With the use of your VIN, the OEM supplied axle was a Dana M44F, and was listed for a 216MM FBI. These ball joints do list as fits for the Dana 44 axle.
