Perfect replacement for 1999 Monte Carlo without steering wheel controls. My switch controls cruise control, wipers, washer fluid, turn signals and hi/low beam headlights and they all work perfectly. Just a side note in case anyone else is having a similar problem, my brake and tail lights had only been working intermittently and that was the reason I ended up replacing my switch. Sometimes only one tail light would work, sometimes I'd have both tail lights but no brake lights, sometimes everything worked, etc. The point is the problem kept moving between different lights and after A LOT of time and frustration trying to track down the cause of the problem, I got this switch and it fixed everything. Only other advice I can think of is be absolutely certain your airbag is disabled before messing around with your steering wheel and also don't even try to replace this switch without a steering wheel puller.
