I bought this item but did not know what brand manufactured these struts. When I received the package, I saw they were made by FCS. I have never installed anything by FCS, but the reviews on the internet do not appear to make me want to take the risk. So, unfortunately, I had to ship these back and will instead purchase Motorcraft. The issue is that 1A auto does not cover shipping and these cost me $90 to return. So, I am not very happy or satisfied about this purchase or experience. 1A, please state who manufactures your products so that the buyer can make an informed choice before money and time are wasted.

Parts fit exact. I was skeptical whether the struts that we're specified for the police interceptor, would just be the same as the civilian model ones. But they seem to be of the exact spring rate as the originals. Very happy with the purchase.

The service was prompt and courteous. Got quick responses for the questions I asked before the purchase. Struts arrived rapidly and well packed. Unfortunately I can't say how they are going to perform as yet since after getting the car torn down discovered I need the ball joints too and the person who was going to put the struts on didn't have the tool for that. Now I need to find someone else to do the job for me. Thanks so much and will let you know how they work once I get them on. Anna

The shocks was easy to install and came as a pair which was awesome. Definitely worth replacing old shocks if necessary. I put these on my 2004 Ford crown Victoria police interceptor and the shocks raised my front by at least a few inches. The only small problem I had was the new bolts for the top of the shocks did fit but was slightly smaller than the original so had to use the original bolts to cover more space. Other than that the shocks are awesome!!!

They seem to be good quality but they are a bit bouncy. Going over bumps the front end seems to bounce a bit before settling. This did not happen with the original struts. Smooth ride though. As one other reviewer stated too, my mechanic had a hard time getting the old ones off due to corrosion.
