Installed on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ in Oct19 and I have been running it near daily for the past 4 months with no issue after replacing the stock Bosch assembly with this TRQ from 1A. I was a bit skeptical as I watched a few tube videos and read on some forums suggesting to replace with a Bosch is possible. I also realized there may be a ton of other less quality products but i needed to try something. My issues: XJ had long starts, extra cranking until it would turn over. I believe this was a fuel prime issue as it would start up quick after short rests but would always long crank after sitting all night. Also after starting, the first time i would really get on the gas pedal the XJ would stutter a little then accelerate fine, it would only happen on first take off. Again thought prime issue. Install: I would encourage anyone with any mechanical ability to try this swap in their garage. 2 sets of hands makes it pretty easy. I also purchased the specialty tool to ensure i wou

Great pump. Fit perfectly and came with a new gasket. Is a challenge to press pump done and twist on locking cap, but overall just what I needed. Jeep runs again.

Great product, simple to install and a great price compared to other options. Jeep is back up and running after the factory sender failed. A couple quick tips on verifying if the sender is bad: 1. If your engine cranks but won't start, swap the fuel and starter relays. They are the same, and if you're engine still cranks after swapping your fuel relay is good. If it doesn't crank, get a new relay. 2. If the relay is good, check power at the rear fuel sender electrical connector (just in front of the fuel tank). If there is power there, you need a new sending unit. Hope this helps someone else tackle this job for the first time. P.S. I had to do the job twice! My fault.. be careful when installing the new sender. The float is delicate and it will pop out if you hang it up during install. Then your fuel gauge reads full all the time! Also, plug the filler neck and vent hoses with a rag to prevent debris entering the tank.
