I hate messing with brake drums and springs so I usually have a mobile brake tech install. No issues, everything fit properly. It's been over a week and I still have a slight squeal to the brakes. They seem to be taking a while to brake in, but due to Covid 19 I'm not driving the normal amount. But I would probably still buy again.

Received parts and they are great quality. Had a small hiccup on one of the aft brake shoes, where the metal bracket that attaches to the cable connects to the shoe on the wrong hole. The setup doesn't allow for proper alignment of the adjuster, clip and spring. I called them and they are sending another set of shoes to me for free though. Good company, just one small glitch on the QA side.

I tried all the local parts stores around me and could not either get the set together or they didn't carry one or two of the pieces I needed to repair my brakes or I would have to wait on the shipment forever. I found 1aauto.com and was surprised that , not only did they carry everything I needed , but it all came it the same set together... and I DID NOT have to wait forever for it to ship... 1AAUTO.COM DEFINETALY HAS MY BUSINESS... BLUF: The brake shoes and drums were easy to install for someone who has never done it. The only difficult part was reinstalling the E-Brake cable through the new spring and locking mechanism. The horseshoe described in the video was more like a V and took considerable force to get the cable through. I had a picture, but I cant upload here. I would absolutely recommend this product and the video to someone looking to do their own work. Appears to be quality parts and simple install.

Originally worked great, about a week or two in the drums became warped and have progressively gotten worse. Now they shutter pretty heavily when brakes are applied.

I order the Brakes and Rear Drum Kit on 04/01/2022 , received them on 04/05/2022, I was inform from website, that these were high quality brakes and drums. My mechanic installed them correctly, and it turn out the drums were warped and I had to take the truck to the mechanic and had to remove them turn them and reinstalled. They didn't seemed to be very high quality to me,

Overall a good kit, except that the Dorman springs weren't "springy" enough, and I had to reuse the old springs. I spent an hour trying to get the shoes to stay in place with the new springs, but they just wouldn't until I had the bright idea to try the old springs, which were just fine.

Brakes pads are horrible ! Out of round only the the top and bottom inch of the pads are making contact with the new drums .. Squealing and grabbing cant wait to see how bad the front rotors calipers and pads I just bought also are screwed up .. so much for shopping on 1A ! Make it it right !

Everything fit perfectly and the video on YouTube was very helpful. Granted it still took some time on the first side we did but after we did it once, only took about 1/4 of the time on the other side.

Either a loose fitting to the cylinder or most likely, a bad cylinder. Don't rebuild, replace.

There is a brake component called a wheel cylinder. You have to remove the brake drum to see it. The brake line connects to the back of the wheel cylinder. Sometimes this line leaks. The wheel cylinder itself has 2 seals. A left side seal and a right side seal. Overtime these seals go bad and they will start leaking also.
