So Far so Good
Kenneth

So far so good. Change everything out and they are holding up good on the roads in the Denver area.
Minor issues with these ball joints.

These parts are not the same as pictured, but I don't have any majors issues with that. The issue I have is the boot completely covers the facing of the ball joint. Attempting to press will damage the boot. Since these are sealed an not greasable, I really did not want to try and remove the boot as these would probably void the warranty and well as any damage to the boot. If you look at other manufacturers the boots are smaller and don't interfere with a ball joint press receiver. I requested return/refund as since these are new, installation may damage the boot (press or prying the boot off to press it in to the control arm) and void the warranty. I should not have to deal with these. Stock Moogs instead..

The existing lower ball joint on my 2000 dodge Dakota 4wd does not have a snap ring (and it's still firmly encased in its spot), but the replacement does? Do I need a press to remove the old? and do I use the snap ring with the new part, or is it the

Make sure you clean around the old ball joint. The dirt may be covering up the lock ring. They DO need to be pressed out and press in the new. You need to use the lock ring according to the manufacturer specs when you install the new parts
