Wrong bolts

I would not reccomend this product because i ordered them needing them for my truck, i got them, they had the wrong bolts for them, they say they arent directional and they are, we had to grind the sides of the brackets for them not to hit the bolts that came in the set, they arent the same as the factory made. I ordered the whole window motor and tracks a while back, and had to send them back because they didnt fit, and they were crappy quality. The same thing happened with them, the bolts didnt fit and i had to go out and buy my own.. I will not order anything else from here

It sounds like the regulator assy is binding I would check the nylon rollers on the assy first to see if they are all in good condition and also check to make sure the tracks are clean and damage free if all is good spray some lithium grease on the tracks and see if that helps

Installing new motors might fix it, but it might be a window lift regulator issue. You might be better off buying a new window lift regulator and motor kit to be safe. It is not that much more.

If this is an old or original motor either the gear mechanism is wearing or there is too much resistance in the track to allow the motor to move it..Most times a new assembly is required.

I have a 1986 suburban diesel. Same thing with my windows. As a matter of fact I had to help the windows roll up by using my hands on the glass and pushing up. New motors on driver and passenger side fixed the problem.

A motor may or may not fix the issue. First make sure the regulator isn't in any bind, make sure you don't hear any cable dragging souds, and that you have a fully charged battery, and 12 volts going to the window motor plug. If that all checks out ok, you can try lubing the rubber track on either side of the window all the way up and down each side, rolling the window up and down periodically. If this makes it work, your all set. If it doesn't help much, I would replace the motor, and as a last result, change the rubber track that the window slides up and down in. I have rarely came across the rubber track needing to be replaced. Most of the time its the regulator in a bind from being wore out, or the motor itself. Hope this helps.

If it slow up and down yes a motor will fix it. If it is slow only down probably a regulator issue.

It could. But cleaning the track real well might to. When I took the panel off of the 1984 Corvette to install the motor the track was black with dirt/dust/grime. Just cleaning the track made a world of difference.
