The kit arrived on time and was well packaged. It was a perfect fit for my engine. All parts seemed to be good quality and basically the same as what it replaced. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. My only criticism of 1 AAuto.com is the website, I find it difficult to navigate using the search function.
Customer Q&A
Will this work for a 2000 Mustang GT sohc?

I can't imagine it will. Worked perfectly on my 2003 explorer 4.6L DOHC though. I'd suggest calling them to find the right kit for your engine.

I put this set on my 2001 Explorer. Not sure if your Mustanfmg has a Romeo or Windsor engine as there are differences between the two. However, 1says it is the right part you should be good to go. You will need the special tool to hold the cans in place so do order them. Auto zone didn't have them to rent where live. On my truck the bolt to the power steering pump was a pain so you may need a puller to remove the pulley on the pump. Finally, I didn't change the camshaft gears as they weren't worn enough for me to change them. Oh yeah, upgrade the cam tensioners to the cast iron parts as the plastic is kinda cheap and doesn't seem sturdy. Good luck! It isn't that hard but it will take some time to do.

I need to replace the timing chains and other associated timing parts on my 2003 f 150 4.6 Romeo engine. What are the part numbers for the cam positioning tool and the fan pulley tool that are used in the video? Thanks, Frank

Frank the fan pulley tool you can just get it in any auto part store the car tool I dont have the part number on mi now but you can also buy it the crank shaft puly you can get it in one of the auto parts but you have to make a holder to hold your crank shaft pulley I made mine out of a 2/6 just mark the holes and use the screws from the kit to remove the pulley hope that would help you

I purchased a generic cam positioning tool on the internet plus I just bought the fan pulley tool a local auto parts store. On a side note I am very displeased with my timing chain kit! I have been unable to make the chains stay in time! I am concerned that the lack of oil pressure from my 200k plus 4.6 is causing the issue! Had I know this from the start i would not have attended the repair! Please take caution with your repair! Sometimes in the videos they don't tell you all the pitfalls of your project!

I could never find a fan pulley tool, so used a piece from my lawnmower...a thin metal piece holding the handle up that had a hole in the right place to put a both through. The cam tool I used was an OTC 6477 (purchased on amazon...sorry 1AAuto.) I can maybe mail it to you to borrow if you'll promise to mail it back Just email me at franklinscott327 at gmail if you'd like to explore this option.

We unfortunately do not have the specific tools that were used in these videos. As suggested from others, you may be able to find these at a local part store to get your repair done right the first time.
