2003 Venture Ignition switch replacement

Got the part very quickly and the price was the best I found. Part was easy to replace using the 1A Auto video for replacing the turn signal switch as a guide. Switch corrected the problem with the blower motor/headlights that I was having. Had to buy one special tool, an E4 deep torx socket to remove the screws that hold the ignition switch. All in all I say I saved about $300.

I seem to have a short happening around the column tilt in the security system wire. Will this go through this area to fix?
