Would have thought the snap ring clips would have been included, no joy on them. Had to use the old ones to complete the installation. Perhaps include on future purchases?

Installation is easy. But take note in how the retaining clips are removed. It looked to me like the tab should pull out of the adjusted. However, that is not so, Rotate the retaining tabs and spread apart the horseshoe ends of the clips. Since the bulbs are supplied with the headlights, unplug the connector from the old headlight and plug it in to the new one. Put the headlight in place and install the clips. Don't forget to have the headlights properly aligned for safe driving.

The headlight installation work well except for one thing. The slot in one of the retainers on the new headlights was too narrow and did not allow me to install the clip that holds the headlight assembly in place. I had to take one of the retainers from the old headlights in order to complete the installation. Visibility driving at night was greatly improved.

The headlight seemed like perfect solution for the twenty one year old lights that had absorbed dirt and grime plus weathering of the plastic. I am super happy with the headlights BUT, get the little 4mm wrench shown next to it for it is near impossible to reach the little nuts with out it.

I decided to replace my 22 year hazy looking headlamps, not a difficult job with the proper tools and the new lens (made in Taiwan) fit exactly and look great. I realize now I should have gotten the whole kit with turn signal and side lights as the new headlights make those now look dull in comparison. They came with lamps which I wasn't expecting although they were an off brand bulb and not as good as the Philips bulbs I already had, so I put those aside as spares. Gave it 4 stars cause I had to go to all the trouble of signing up for some special account just to leave a review.

Great product! Little hard to get clips off! Have to take grill off plus sidelights! Wel I am a women and I replaced them by myself! 1 aaauto was the best place to get parts for my ranger!!

These were a good investment in making my truck look good! I tried many of the headlight polishing techniques but these were the best way to go. I should have bought the running ligts and front turn signal bundle so may have to go back and get that too. Install on the 98 Ranger was not as straight forward as later models but still doable, just take your time and note the screw adjustment when removing the old units and try to transfer these adjustment to the new housings to save yourself adjustment time. Lamps look great out of the box, but there was a slight difference in the cast adjuster mountings so trying to match the adjustments to the original was a project. One of the adjusters was broken upon receipt, so I had to rebuild it using parts from the old headlight, no big deal, but it slowed down the install. After install, it still took a lot of adjustment to get them correct, so I would suggest not even bothering with any adjustment prior to install. I would suggest springing for the special ratcheting adjuster tool, but you may need a small open or box end wrench for the upper adjuster as there wasnt enough clearance to the cross member on my 98 ranger to fit the ratchet. I also suggest removing the battery and air box cover for access to the lamp plugs.

This was very easy to install. One phil;lips head screwdriver, the adjustment brackets fit well, and all electronics connected easily. Both replacement headlights took about 25 minutes, and that included cleanup.

need to remove the parking light turn signal assembly below before you start. maybe buy a couple of headlight adjuster clips from ford (two year only). get adjustment close before installing new clips.

I replaced my headlights some time ago. watch the vidio. I had trouble removing the clips, needed a long pair of needlenose plyers.

Very easy. There are two clips in back of the headlights that need to be removed , disconnect the wiring harness, plug them into the new lights then put the light fixture back and reinstall the clips.

Installation went relatively well with one exception. The gap on one of the retainers was too narrow and prevented installation of the clip that holds the headlight in place. It required me to remove a retainer from the old headlight assembly to complete the job.

No, new bulbs are not included. The bulbs just twist out of the headlight housing which is what this is and then you can put the existing ones in the new ones.
